Seeking Non-Formal Environmental Educators Interested in Obtaining Official Certification

On June 14, 2011 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, the Pennsylvania Association for Environmental Educators (PAEE) and Pennsylvania Center for Environmental Education (PCEE) invite all interested non-formal environmental educators to contribute to the environmental education certification development process. Building on results gathered from a recent online survey and the PAEE annual conference, EPCAMR will host small discussion groups across the state to share more information and hear input.

This meeting will be held at the EPCAMR office, located at 101 S. Main Street in Ashley, Pennsylvania. Coffee and other refreshments will be provided.

The agenda for the evening is as follows:

  • Brief welcome by EPCAMR Executive Director, Robert Hughes
  • Introduction of Ruth Roperti, PAEE President, & Jeremy Schreivert, PAEE Northeast Regional Director
  • Introduction of Chris Tittle, Moderator
  • Discussion on the Non-Formal Environmental Education Certification Process Project
  • Three Break-Out Sessions

PAEE will head the meeting. PCEE will moderate the meeting.
