We\u00a0also know that today&#8217;s depressed power prices coupled with high costs are making it economically difficult for these plants to stay in business. Senate Bill<\/span> <span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">(<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><a style=\"color: #1155cc;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.legis.state.pa.us\/cfdocs\/billInfo\/billInfo.cfm?sYear=2013&amp;sInd=0&amp;body=S&amp;type=B&amp;bn=1346\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">SB 1346<\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">)<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\"><span style=\"font-family: sans-serif;\">\u00a0introduced by Senator Don White and its accompanying\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">\u00a0House Bill<\/span><\/span><a style=\"color: #1155cc;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.legis.state.pa.us\/cfdocs\/billInfo\/billInfo.cfm?sYear=2013&amp;sInd=0&amp;body=H&amp;type=B&amp;bn=2265\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: blue; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0; text-decoration: underline;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #ffffff; text-decoration: underline;\">(HB2265<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">)<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\">introduced by State Representative Jaret Gibbons will provide a tax credit for removing the waste coal and reusing the CFB coal ash to reclaim land. This bill is good for the EPCAMR Region and our watersheds still plagued by abandoned mine lands and waste coal banks. It&#8217;s also good for PA.
