He will also continue to support\u00a0<strong>field activities<\/strong>\u2014including\u00a0<strong>AMD sampling and watershed restoration efforts<\/strong>\u2014to ensure on-the-ground observations inform community resources, capacity-building, and policy briefs.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cFrank\u2019s work makes information usable\u2014by communities, by partners, and by decision makers,\u201d said Bobby E. Hughes, Executive Director of EPCAMR. \u201cBy integrating data systems, media production, and policy outreach, the Information Hub will help our network coordinate faster, build capacity, and advance reclamation, watershed assessment and restoration planning, and AMD remediation results across the EPCAMR region.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Frank joined EPCAMR as a part-time GIS Watershed Outreach Specialist back in February of 2020. Grant funding was provided from the <a href=\"https:\/\/thefpw.org\/\">Foundation for PA Watersheds<\/a> to support his position for 1-year and he will continue to seek funding to continue the position during the year going forward.
