Project Management Assistance
EPCAMR offers Project Management assistance to watershed organizations and local governments who are not comfortable with, or do not have the experience to manage multi-phased construction projects that involve passive treatment designs of AMD remediation systems or small-scale land reclamation projects. EPCAMR staff are available to compliment another organizations effort to complete AMD remediation and AML reclamation jobs “on the ground” throughout the EPCAMR Region.
How does this work? EPCAMR staff would need to be “written in” to portions of a grant applicants proposal to manage certain aspects of any given project or hired as a subcontractor under a project. Groups are encouraged to talk with the EPCAMR Staff directly in order for us to bring the needs of a particular group back to our Board of Trustees for approval to become active partners in other proposals throughout the region, unless a group is looking specifically for technical assistance and help with providing education/outreach in the communities affected by AMD/AML. Those services are provided without cost compliments of the PA DEP 319 Nonpoint Source Program Grant.
The EPCAMR Executive Director has coordinated projects in AMD Remediation and AML Reclamation Projects throughout PA since 1996. The EPCAMR Program Manager has been coordinating local remediation projects with watershed groups across the EPCAMR Region since 2000. Please see our staff page for other specifics and qualifications.
